Dubai Airshow 2025 set to make history with biggest edition yet
Over 1,500 global aerospace leaders to gather for landmark 19th edition
DUBAI – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow will open on 17 November 2025, uniting global leaders in aviation, space, and defence for what promises to be its most ambitious edition yet.
Held under the theme “The Future is Here,” the event will bring together over 1,500 leading aerospace and defence companies from more than 47 countries, with an expected attendance of 148,000 visitors. The showcase will spotlight sustainability, AI-powered innovation, space exploration, advanced mobility, and next-generation talent development – reaffirming Dubai’s growing stature as a centre for global aviation excellence.
At a press conference announcing the details, senior officials outlined the strategic collaborations and innovations shaping this year’s event. Among those present were Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, UAE Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency; Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology Affairs; Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports; and several senior representatives from Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Informa.

Dubai Airshow 2025 will set new records in scale and ambition. Over 200 of the world’s most advanced aircraft will be on display, alongside nearly 440 new exhibitors and representation from 150 countries. The event will feature 490 delegations from 98 nations, 18 country pavilions including one debuting nation, and an expanded 8,000-square-metre exhibition area.
With more than 120 startups, 50 investors, and 350 global speakers delivering over 350 hours of thought-provoking content across 12 conference tracks, the event cements its place as a premier platform for innovation and collaboration.

What’s new this year?
This year’s edition will debut several new experiences. A new conference stage will host discussions spanning sustainability, defence, and space, while eVTOL aircraft will make their first-ever flying display appearance. The highly anticipated Airshow After Dark will transform traditional networking through twilight runway events and live performances.
The Space Pavilion, the largest in the event’s history, will feature a two-day conference, immersive showcases, and high-level networking opportunities. Alongside, the Inspiration Zone and Youth Circles will spotlight emerging talent and innovation, aligning with the UAE’s long-term focus on skills development and future technologies.

How will visitors experience it?
Dubai Airshow 2025 will introduce a range of unique activations to engage visitors beyond the traditional exhibits. Among them is a 5K run on the Dubai Airshow runway as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (30x30), set against a backdrop of static aircraft displays. SkyBites by Emirates Flight Catering and Emirates Leisure Retail will offer culinary experiences, while the official mascot, Falco, will bring interactive elements to the show.
A dedicated Wellness Zone, presented by XWELL, will highlight health and wellbeing through initiatives from Dubai Health Authority, including the Sensory Dome and Breathe In Pod, alongside health checks provided by Saudi German Hospital.
